Four of us this time; Pete, Martin, Chris and myself took a trip to the West Highlands. Day 1 was a very sweaty, hot and sticky trip up Ben Vane. By day 2, we had already lost Martin to bad feet, so the 3 of us tackled the 4 Munros around Ben Lui and Ben Oss, finishing well into darkness. We didn't even make it in time for the pub, still Martin had been shopping...WHAT, NO BEER!!!
The third day saw us down to just Chris and myself. The weather was so poor that I didn't even bother to take my camera with me and in the end it wasn't needed. Chris managed to get a couple of shots with his and if I can pinch them, I will post them here. |

Martin struggles with the first obstacle of the day on the approach to Ben Vane. (If ever you need a padlock, I know where there's some spares...) 842x560 2008-09-25 00:00:00 |
